Hi,
First I wanted to say I cant believe I've only just found the executive assault series! Currently playing the first game and thoroughly enjoying it. It brings back memories of my CnC and Warzone 2100 days. I'm extremely impressed with what the game has to offer and very much looking forward to EA2! Also love the soundtrack, I sense at least a little inspiration from Star Trek 😊
So my idea is probably more of a question, but what scope is there, do people think, of having AI executrons that control higher level base functions (building, resource collection etc) and/or assigning a group of units to perform a task (attack/defend)?
I ask because Ive been frustrated where I attempt to join the FPS action whilst playing solo but needing to constantly check on the strategic situation lest my base gets pummelled into the ground. Having limited AI executrons covering some of my micro-management would free me up to enjoy the FPS aspect of the game.
Given the impression I'm getting that EA2 is close to release, perhaps this is an idea for a later update?
Thoughts?
Matt

Hi, Been looking at adding a large scale holographic map in the Bridge so that Executrons can see how the action is going which hopefully should help give you a better idea as to how your faction is going especially if its being controlled by the AI.

Now that sounds like it a great idea if done correctly.
