So I see all this stuff about the CEO's room, but man hes a CEO he should have personal bodyguards and a robot carrying a large suitcase of money. I am thinking it would be nice to upgrade what exactly the CEO could do..
Some Examples:
1.The ability to use vehicles, now granted that is mildly useless at times, but the option is always there to get to your huge capital ship and or take an escape pod.... Reasons for this Is in a post i saw the word systems and a couple other things leading to the suggestion that there might be multiple systems in one battle.
2. A MECH not even joking an expensive awesome mech that is hidden behind a wall that must be researched, bought and upgraded for defence, because a pistol is cool, but imagine opening the door to the supersized CEO office to find a the CEO pointing a laser minigun at your face.
3. Possibly instead an upgradable suit, because the business suit gives little or no protection, I'm pretty sure if I was rich like that in a space environment where people wanted to kill me I would make my suit have upgrades... Examples: Personal shield(Might be weaker to make it fair), Wafer thing reflection plates that block up to 4 shots from lasers( Also looks shiny and has the wide color collection of Black and Pink), Carry on toothbrush and static absorption unit (Blocks one shot from a tesla gun if in game), A Gentlemen's pair of magnetic gloves (Gives the CEO the ability to crush any unit with armor/ unless has upgrade/ also has cooldown), Bachelor addition shades (Gives information on units when not in RTS mode)... and many more.
Traps in the office that can be set up like a puzzle, or just traps activated by certain triggers so sending correct units can be useful to withstand attack, like having boarding drones (Another idea where a ship connects to station and unloads Manhack like drones) That if you have a spike trap won't activate due to wrong trigger, but when it passes the flamethrowers positioned on the wall they are toast.

6. A pet of some sort. Like a dog or a cat that can either assist protecting CEO or is just cute and adorable to sit there.
7. I believe I might have already said this, but customizable CEO rooms or the ability to pick from roster of different types, also makes bases look a little different. Also could help detect hackers bots and also guard Self Destruct button if you get them
8. A more obvious self destruct button, because in the first one I could not find it until told exactly where to go.
