This is the second time I am writing this and I am mildly annoyed.
Here are some Ideas
1. A Hologram of the base in certain rooms so that Executrons or a lost CEO can get around while not in RTS mode. For an example imagine the Resident Evil parts where they zoom in on them in the huge facility.
2. Drydocks and or under construction ships. So the large capital ships (If there are any) Basically a drydock that is where ships are made and can be seen being made. Basically it creates the possibility of sabotaging big ships, by placing bombs to explode right there or wait until the ship is built then activate when its fighting. Or place teleporters and other such sabotage items like crates with robots inside. Which also leads to inspection of your large ships which Executrons can do or Managers( I will explain those next.. they are idea) Basically for managers or the dry dock there is a amount of resources that can be paid to speed up production or for inspections.
3. Managers are units created either in the match or on the faction creation menu that give buffs to certain aspects of the station when they are brought into a match for that faction. This gives some customization to the units aboard the station and relating to the prisoners idea it gives important targets to capture for interrogation or ransom. These units being so useful and custom would most likely only be one unit of each manager per match so that the ransom holds more weight. Some Ideas for Managers are Engineering/ Research/ Inspection/ Security/ Reactor. But basically as an example of one (Name Billy Bob, Features Whatever, Profession Engineering, Buff: Shipbuilding Artisan: Capital and large ships build 25% faster, but use 10% more resources. I don't know just Idea.
4. Faction buffs or abilities and or units. Basically even more customized allowing factions to have Buffs, or abilities, or custom units and or building. While each could be a seperate choice of one, it would be nice to have all. Example:
Faction Buff: Composite Armor: Gives ships and base 25% more health, but 10% more expensive
Faction Ability: Sell Stocks: Resources/ or money gained is increased by 40% for 2 minutes (10 minute cooldown)
Faction unit: Mechanized Boarder: An Armoured Boarding unit equipped with heavy weaponry: (Cost 1500/ based upon what is equiped) (Same with health/ speed/ and other qualities)
Faction Building: Foundry Receiver room: Receives materials from companies homeworld foundries (500 resources every 2 minutes) (Cost 10,000- One only)
You get the picture, but most likely only the faction buff and or ability as creating the other two would be stressful.
Also while I'm at it CEO Buff Example: Degree in Awesomeness: Makes CEO 2x harder to kill because he's Awesome (Technically that would still be one hit though really as I'm pretty sure punching one in the face kills them)
