Looking at Gateways(Jump points) it would be interesting to have a special unit or structure that can be used to lock a Gateway allowing for things such as blockades to be built up and the side that owns it can lock and unlock the gateway to allow ships through they can be destroyed or hacked by using a teleporter on the other side of the Gateway to send troops through to hack it open which could add another aspect to the game.
