Srry I am on a mobile so excuse my grammar. So I was wandering if the ships will be enterable Via halls and such, like someone boards the ship and there is fighthing in hallways and such maybe even an own security system for the large ships. Escape pods etc, but lets say this was the case.. large ships would basically be a mobile space station probaly making them very expensive. Tough I feel some ships should literally be humongous and has space for bot facility and small ships hangar/facility either to make or for its own game mode, say ship gamemode.
I am really looking forward to this game and would love to see so ething like this.

Currently you can take direct control of the captain of a ship and then walk about.
I did look at allowing some sort of docking and walking on board but the logistics of such a thing was just too difficult. What I am thinking on doing is allowing non CEO players to use the transporter room to beam onto the star ship, or perhaps you take a shuttle and dock with it Star Trek 1 style (only without the 8 minutes of gliding around at a snails pace)

I may have been a little naughty and made it so you can now beam onto ships and back again, so Executrons or the CEO can now board a ship and even take stored fighters out for a spin... So full internal ship combat is now technically possible.

Just a quick question...When you say that "you can take stored fighters for a spin" does that mean that larger ships have an accessible hangar deck when in first person mode?
Another question is that if the larger ships DO have a hangar deck is it possible to manually assign a ship to it? like maybe put a full troop ship into the hangar to better defend it on the way to an enemy base?

Yes, and no. Yes you can take a fighter out for a fly about from carrier ships, but currently no you can't see the hanger as its all done from the bridge.
I would like a proper hanger deck on big ships but for now, they simply lunch out of a sort of launch bay hole on the side of the ship, this may change.

Hey getting a concept down is half the battle getting it in just the right fashion can take longer but can be delayed a bit since you got the base concept done thus freeing you up to work on getting some other concepts down too.

Would it be possible if you were raiding a ship in FPS mode, then stumbled across the hangar bay and begun to gun down small ships? I think it would be a cool concept and something that could change the tides in battle.
