So me along with some others noticed how unbalanced EA1 is so we decided to make a set of rules that do a pretty good job at rounding off the game and throw everyone onto a more even playing field. So let me get to the rules since that's what you're here for.
Stander Rules
1. All starting thorium (Power/purple crystals) are divided evenly between executives and all future thorium that appears on the map is free for grabs. The reason for this rule is as nice as it is for everyone to be rushing for the thorium. As it turns out it really just annoyed a lot of people because the thorium would just spawn next to one or two people then just leave the rest pretty much without power.
2. No pylon/engineer spamming you can only have 20 engineers no more then 20 pylons total also don't have no more then 10 pylons in your base. Reason for this rule is it really just killed peoples hardware and was kinda cheaty. (Patch 1.2 resolved this mostly)
3. You can only have up to eight unites that use the lighting guns/snipers at any given time. Now if a few of them get destroyed you are allowed to build replacement unites but don't go above the eight unit limit. The reason for this rule is the lighting gun was dubbed as being over powered as it has no cost to it, it can one shot any unarmored unites, and due to the how the AI never seems to miss a shot they can hit any unites that get in rang before they can even offer any form of resistance. (Being looked at by Rob)
4. No zerg rushing meaning no one is allow to attack any else base for a full ten minutes. Reason for this rule is let's face it as fun as the game is it takes awhile to get anything done when it comes to defenses and it's no fun to be killed at the five minute mark of the game.
5. No taking advantage of glitches and exploits in the game. Reason come on do I really need to say it? It's just bad sportsmanship. (Patch 1.2 resolved this mostly)
6. No corridor looping which basically means looping your corridors around so no one can get into your base. Again do I really need to explain this rule? (Patch 1.2 resolved this)
7. If a player's game crashes within the first 15 minutes of a match, the match will be restarted and everyone will be required to do a full game reboot, but if a player crashes two times in a roll they will be eliminated from the match.
8. You can only build one tricruser and it can only be used for base defence. Due to tricrusers being over powered (Patch 1.2 resolved this)
Hmm other then that the rest seems to be pretty balance so yea. Oh if you guys want here's a helpful tip for you all. If you want to self destruct a bot press CTRL + D and it even works for the executive! But if you must commit suicide executive please hit your self destruct button. If you don't know where that is well that's classified information, as we wouldn't want any hacker bots to find out
