These two ships are useful early game, but late game.... Weapons maxed..
Cruisers and battleships dominate
Corvette can't be a back bone like description says..and frigate the same..
Solution?
Warp drive: high tier tech.. or tech from traders.
It allows the Corvette and frigate class starships to warp within just enough range to actually provide whatever support is needed..
Right now they are easily picked off.. late game.. and if you have low income and can't afford cruiser class to combat the range... GG.
