Hey Rob...earlier on a steam forum thread I think saw that you mentioned that for the "big" ships that only the bridge will be accessible for first person play?. My questions are:
1. how are you actually supposed to "get" onto the bridge for the bigger ships? do they dock against the space stations and you can walk in through a hatch? or is there going to be some "handwavium" going on there?
2. do the big ships have things like hangar bays and such?
3. if the big ships only have an "explorable" bridge...how do things like boarding work?
4. do big ships have escape pods so if you have your CEO or friends playing as executrons(orwhatever their EA2 equivalentis) on board....is there a way for them to escape in the event of a successful boarding action or the ship exploding?
5. I guess this question is more about the space stations....but are pressurization physics a thing in the game? like if part of a station hull gets breached will there be air rushing outand sucking bots into space? and will there be interior bulkheads that can be sealed to contain such breaches? And finally since there will be "multiple sectors" in the game maps now....will it be possible to have more than a single station? if so if your main station gets blown up can you evacuate your CEO to another station to keep on playing?

Hi Elvinblade, So currently as it stands to get onto the bridge of a starship you Direct Control the captain who is already there allowing you to walk around the ships bridge, you can then de possess him and become the CEO again. However I really would like it so that you can board the ship and actually feel like you are on it so may be looking at a way of boarding starships such as docking a shuttle with it or transporting onboard.
As for hanger bays currently non of the ships have them however when I invaded my friends base the other day he was flying about in his drone fighter and I wish I was there in space trying to take him out so will try and work out a way of adding fighters to bigger ships to launch.
Currently there isn't a pressure system on the station, there are pressure doors between each segments which close if that building is about to explode so if you are on the wrong side of the door when that happens then you die. But no there isn't any sort of vacuum suction. However lets see how things go.

Hmm looking at this Rob what would happen if a enemy unit was able to board a docked ship would they be able to a temp to capture the ship or would they just be stuck in another part of the ship?
But if they were able to a temp to capture the ship I could see adding in boarding ships. Kinda likes those from homeworld that would shoot pops that latched onto enemy ships and a team of marines would go in and capture the ship. But a good counter to this would be if you would position extra troops/bots onto these larger ships they could potentially holdout against the invaders.
So now thinking about this yea it's a lot more work but it would add a lot of gameplay to the game. But that would be your call rob
Now elvinblade being able to move around your CEO from your main base to a ship as a last ditch effort to stay in the game. Hmm that would make it a bit interesting as now after I just blew up your base but you are running. I have to now hunt you down and hope you don't have a bigger plot going on. Yea that could be very interesting, annoying and fun at the same time.

okay everyone keeps talking about boarding ships, hell i still dont even know how to get the hackerbot in EA1 (i know to research it but i still dont know where or how to spawn it) Hello I figure I'd help you out here. Once you research the Hack bot then go down the the bot factory and there should be a button next to design bot that says hack bot. Once you click that you will make 1 hack bot that can go into the enemy base. Now this took me awhile to figure out but when using the enemy control console press CTRL to use your mouse freely and be able to interact with the interface then press CTRL again to regain control of your bot and everything else, else you won't be able to click on anything else.

Because they will destroy my army and think they got the win when all of a sudden boom their CEO is now dead.

I would really like escape pods and reactor rooms, and blast doors.
