Hey Rob, i just got a few quick suggestions/questions...
I am curious if it's intended or if it's a bug.... but during a multiplayer game, a executron quite literally walked through a room of robots without them firing a shot, i didn't even see their "signal" (coloured circle)... just the executron itself (the model) and i believe this to be a big/glitch
He had came in through a fighter, if that's any point of concern.
Also, as fair as i believe the weapon range decrease (controlled by player) to be, i believe that for Cruisers and Stations should have larger range regardless, just feels uncomfortable and weird to for the cruiser to literally be above the station to shoot it, (not really but from play view might as well be).
Also, i would also like to propose external defensive turrets for the shipyard, and maybe the refinery (top and bottom(to catch sneaky fighters and troop transports))

Hmm they should shoot executrons regardless how they entered the station.
the firing range of defences on that station are equivalent of the firing ranges of corvettes and in FPS mode they have an extra 50m so could make them the same as cruisers.
More turrets on the station?

More turrets on the station? I personally would really want to be able to place external turrets on my station, and also upgrade/change the internal ones.

Yes, i believe we need more external turrets for the main station, because honestly, seeing as you can't zoom out the station design screen, i end up building my station quite lierally around the command station, so only for 4 turrets on the top + the docking bays are able to shoot cruisers, and none of them can stop a fighter and troop transport from sneaking in.
Also i agree, we should be able to upgrade the internal turret, maybe have them use the secondary weapon of the station for sake of simplicity (i hope it's simple)
