i have 20 mining ships which is not a problem when they are docking between outpost and main station but it becomes a problem when they start to collect at the mining outpost and then the cargo ship cannot dock.
so my question is, could we maybe have a queueing system or atleast a manual way to skip the line of sorts for cargoships or simply have cargoships skip the line if the outpost is already at 6,000 capacity.
there is also a problem with 3-4 mining drones getting suck in an infinite loop where 2 mining ships will be inside a outpost then one comes out and a third goes in and the same 3 drones will repeat that forever leaveing you with 0 resources
iv also found that theres a problem with cargoships only staying docked for like 2 seconds without filling their full cargohold and i am unsure how to fix this
it would also be nice to be able to select what system you want the mining ships to use as currently once they leave main system if there is a mining outpost they seem to just group on that single outpost while none of the ships use the main station there also does not seem to be a way to tell the ships what to mine unless you target them and click on the rock id like to see the mining ship control from resource control be able to select the system aswell as the rock they are to mine.
it would also be nice to be able to blow up a ship or self destruct it

A large mining station is in the works, the insides are done, I just need to make the exterior look good.
The idea with the mining ships were that they were fully automated so you didnt have to worry about them as they wound seek out nearby resources and you could just let them get on with it. You can select one and right click on an asteroid you want them to mine if that helps.
As for the cargoships docking and then taking off with very little in them, I am still trying to identify the issue as would you believe I haven't managed to recreate yet. I am hoping that the new docking bay with 8 landing pads and a separate one for printing out a new ship will fix this.

yea ill grab a recording from shadowplay in a few minutes im trying to win this game with no coolant or iron because i cant get the cargoships to bring me any of the 39k in my outpost lol
iv also seem to have sorta fixed it again idk i shot down every mining ship i have with a frigate and then the next trip with a cargoship brought back 500 instead of the usual 20-30 resources

ok i have a video of it uploading to youtube now shows 3 cargoships doing 2 trips each the thing with me turning power on is simply due to the cargoships and the mining ships being weird and not bringing any resources iv been stuck in this exact state resources and ship wise for like 2 hours now haha where i have the resources inside the mining ships and the outpost but they either wont put it into the outpost leaveing their cargo full of iron even though they are assigned to coolant or the cargoship will not retrieve it and when they do its only 10-20 coolant or iron sometimes it fixes itself for 1-2 trips and it brings more back even as in the video one of the cargoships decided to bring 90 iron instead of the usual 10 the only thing i seem to have accomplished by blowing up the ships is removeing or reduceing atleas the queue time for them to dock so im forced to let them do a trip flick the power on for 2 seconds to get my cargoship unloaded then turn off power again to conserve the little coolant i have remaining
also to be honest with you i think its a problem with the outpost itself not the cargoship as the mining ships also do it where they go in and then leave without being empty

Thats a superb video, thanks for that. The mining outpost I noticed was constructing new mining ships, was that something you set? I think i've told ships to take off to clear the pad if you are making new one but it's only suppose to happen on the central pad though.

that might be the problem but inside the outpost with a robot on direct control the thing does not have anything being built it only shows it outside
ok after going into another solo game iv been able to figure it out even without telling the mining outpost to fabricate it was doing it anyway and preventing my cargoships from gathering recources

yes but i have been able to fix the problem whenever a mining ship would get blown up the mining outpost attempts to fix the problem by crafting a new one and then it just ends up with a ship going in it starting to craft a new ship then kicking the ship out without building it iv fixed this problem by going in with a robot in the mining outpost and canceling the current queue of mining ships
