So a few issues here, and I just want to know if you already knew about these Rob, and if theyll be fixed.
1. Disabling things doesnt work. Ive been disabling some thing like random events and protestors, but ill still get ion stormed, meteor stormed, and protestors still appear in systems when you enter them.
2. Notifications are bad. The notifications dont really "notify" me that they are there. This is more of a quality of life issue rather than a serious bug. But half the time Im so busy fighting, managing the base, or trying to build units, or leading an assault, and the notifications are so small and quiet, I dont see them until i have a bunch stacked up and its to late. Theres also no notification for the traders when they have a mechanoid for sale. Ive logged quite a few hours in the game already, but have yet to get mechanoids because I dont know when theres a trader with the blueprint at my station
3. resources break easy. At least twice now, Ive been playing the game normally, and then failed to see a meteor storm coming (because notifications dont actually notify me of anything) and didnt realize anything was wrong. Then I would see my base is destroyed, it would break some building like my dockingstation, and half my base would be dead. Thats fine, nothing wrong with that. But afterwards, because the docking station was destroyed, ALL my economy related mechanics COMPLETELY break. Miners and cargo ships halt their movement, and I stop making ironite. I tried manually ordering them back into action, but because I cant force cargo ships to dock and unload at the new docking station, they just sit there and so do the miners. They dont recognize that an ew docking station is built. On top of that, after I build a new goods factory and ore processors, the old overlay is still there. Meaning I see two setups in the processing screen. Theres two "constructing" boxed where the gears move and it shows progress, and it also incorrectly displays the amount of ironite I have. Worse, If i had three processors that got destroyed, then built 2 more, itll show me having FIVE processors, and disabling and re-enabling them Doesnt work at all. They cease functioning in the slightest and refuse to process ironite. This is the biggest issue for me.
4. No gimbal limit on turrets. Its ridiculously easy for you to blow up your own ship, because the turrets rotate past what SHOULD be their limit, and proceed to shoot your own ship. Additionally, if you do projectile weapons, particularly torpedoes or pulsators, you cant fire while moving at speed. The projectiles dont account for ship speed, and fire slower than you are moving, and so again you are shooting your own ship. Ive particularly witnessed this in corvettes, frigates, and sometimes cruisers.
