Hi again this idea just came to mind when I made my last post. If special weapons like the infestation bomb that I suggested in another thread of mine were added and you could only fire the number of shots of what you had produce of these weapons. Than wouldn't it make sense to have a place to store the weapons as well. So what I'm thinking is if you were to produce a special weapon then that facility can hold about 3 shots of it and then has to wait for innovatory space to be freed up before producing anymore. But while the weapons are in their facility stock pile they are fairly exposed and any invaders or whatnot could come by and either sabatash it, set it off right away, or flat out pick the thing up and be left expose carrying it back to a transport to steal it, or just move them to another part of your station to use directly against you. So if a armory was created then your bots would move the weapons to the armory where it has a larger stock pile capacity and is locked behind a security door plus has a security check station. The whole time being left expose and ripe for interception.
Now to also go with this since these are special weapons we can't just fit them onto any regular ship they would be fitted to a special weapon's ship which would have to dock with the station and you have to manually set a cue of what weapons it would be fitted with. Then the bots would have to go fetch the weapons from where ever it may be and take it to the special ship. Also being left expose while doing so.
Granted if hostile forces were to somehow get into the armory it would be like the powder cage on a warship one wrong move and the whole thing can go off hens the heavy protection it has. But I take it having one major disaster hitting a section of your station that you can seal off is still far more preferable then having the multiple smaller disaster across the station simultaneously.
Please comment down below what you think of this idea also yes 200th post!

think this sounds like an amazing idea.
This would create more tasks for the executorons to do and add even more strategical value to capturing bases, now that they have the potential too contain powerfull weapons

An interesting concept, loading giant bombs directly onto effectively dive bombers outside the space station. Perhaps as a midway super-weapon that's cheaper and faster than the Monolith but more situational and easier to counter. It would need to be very carefully balanced to avoid becoming a rusher's strategy, as in the more hastily its carried out, the more effective it is. I'm afraid I'm not qualified enough nor knowledgeable of the game's mechanics and pacing enough yet to provide a more informed opinion, but this seems like a feature that, if implemented, should come after release.
