As far as I am aware, Executrons are in the game. However, I was feeling a bit of worry about how they would be able to get around in a timely manner to do the will of their CEO. I mean they could be able to jump into any old fighter and zoom off, but their size and speed would take them quite a while to get where they need to be in any timely manner. (I imagine so, anyway, I don't know much about the average travel speed across sectors as I've not played it myself.) It struck me that perhaps Executrons could have a special shuttle-type craft that is many times faster than any other ship, unarmed, and lightly armored. (It could be upgraded with a few basic defense systems maybe, but the point of them is that they have zero strategic value and are automatically produced for free on all outposts and stations so Executrons are never stranded somewhere.) There could be a small room in the main hub of a station perhaps which could literally be just a circular door in the floor that ONLY opens for Executrons, that drops them into a dark tube which auto-loads them into one of these shuttles. No need to have a fancy hanger or something. They're just robots, what do they care if the room looks pretty? XD
Additionally, I don't think the Executron shuttle should be able to dock with enemy stations. It would allow the Executrons to zoom across the whole map in the first few minutes of the match and kill the enemy CEO with next to no effort. Obviously not the intended gameplay strategy. XD They can be allowed to dock with allied stations and ships of course, and take control of the latter when they do. Perhaps they could even eject with a button press directly into the shuttle for a quick escape. Or they could they made to scamper back to the shuttle in a panic. (The eject method could perhaps be a late-tier research option.)
Lastly, I recall that during the last few moments of the Monolith super-ship's firing charge-up, a small ship can fly into the center to make it explode. I personally think that the Executron Shuttle should NOT be able to do this. My reasoning being that as the shuttle would be the fastest craft, it would be almost impossible to catch, paltry health or no, and make for an effortless counter. (Maybe, and this is a BIG "Maybe", but just maybe there could be a research, like end-tier research, last level, that lets the shuttles kamikaze into Monoliths, but I still think it would be best to just make the Shuttles solely as a free and quick mode of transport for Executrons.)
