Hi! I heard about this game a while ago and just recently remembered it. I came up with an interesting and pretty simple idea that could add some depth to the game, so I thought I'd share.
So, as far as I'm aware, CEOs would be able to leave the station via ships. Now, besides fleeing to live on and fight another day, there wouldn't be much reason to do this currently. To combat this, something you could do would be to make any ship with the CEO physically present on it emit some sort of large buff to nearby ships. While this would likely not be used very often due to the massive risk it poses, it would find a place in many edge-case strategies, such as a blitzkrieg into an enemy base or a desperate last stand against a stronger enemy.
Now, there are of course some potential issues with this. One being that if multiple CEOs were in the same faction (not sure if this is planned but it'd be a nice feature), that faction could spread the effect across more area, or even have a stonger effect if it was stackable. To help with this, the power of each CEO's rally could scale based on the number of CEOs in that faction, say with the equation 1/x where x is the number of CEOs. That way, if there were 2 CEOs, each would only have 50% rally power. Another issue is that you could just stick your CEO in a very tanky ship, or even the Monolith if you manage to get one, and reap all the rewards without any of the risk. One potential fix could be that the power or range of the effect would be higher if the health stat of the ship was lower.
There's probably some other stuff I haven't thought about yet, but I do think this would really help add some extra strategy to the game, as well as helping to make any final battles much more interesting for both sides.
