Sorry if these have been asked already, but I can't find the answers here if so 1. How do I rebuild fighters on carriers? 2. How do I repair my station if it takes damage? 3. How do I save a game so I can come back to it later? This is a pretty long game at times.
4. Does creating trade goods make sense as a way of earning iron? 5. What the heck does the refinery do? I *think* it might delay my income but also multiply it? But it seems unclear!
Thanks in advance for any answers that you all have!

1. I don't think it's possible. But should be introduced in my opinion.
2. You have to go to the repair-terminals. Each building has its own terminal. Example Command and Control: 3.There is currently no saving. It was announced that such a feature will come. 4. I haven't checked yet and depends on (5.). No idea. 5. You get more Ironite from Raw Ironite. But I don't know the values exactly.
@quartz have you already created a wiki?

chefzeroThanks fellow executive! Your answers were very helpful, and now I can at least repair my buildings. I am still very curious about both the trade goods question and the refinery question, but I think the answer to both is "yes" after some more testing. Specifically, trade goods cost 100 and sell for enough money to buy more than 100 metal, as far as I can tell. I couldn't tell if the value of the payment fluctuates, because some ai jerk kept shooting me. But it seems reliably at least a break-even prospect. Refineries seem to be an interesting trade off - definitely a delayed "payment" for some degree of resource multiplication. Not sure how much, but it seems significant while being less than 100%?

To try and clarify the trade question
Ok so yeah the goods you produce turn into money.. what to do with money?
#1. Bribe faction to not bother you, and have them around to harass enemy ships instead of killing their ships. Not much defense but hey, extra units kinda lol
#2. Purchase any coolant the trader brings if your low on it or just to keep for the Long Winter ( long game ).
#3. Purchase any extra iron ore the traders have. why? Well if your low on iron and need to build something quick , use what cash you got and make it happen or get closer to the goal of building the unit.
#4. Mechanoids - my main reason why I sell goods is for these bad boys. They range from 1400 to 2400 to buy one. They have 2 guns, bipod, looks like that bipod mech in RoboCop 1 ( 90's). Right now the mechanoid is bugged, you can still purchase from trader, but it's better to buy one at a time and build it after you do before purchasing another, why? I got that information in ( ask Rob, mechanoid issue ).
So hopefully this helps the reason why you may or may not need a goods factory.

Forgot to say, just in case if you didn't know, the mechanoid isn't always available for every trader ship coming through. It varies.. but they are good so this is reason why they come often.. you can load on troop transport to bring anywhere you like.. enemy base too lol.
Just check Everytime you see an info message from them telling you they are happy to dock with ya..
Now in war.. you'll probably miss a trader or two.. I mean, with lasers and what not.. the last thing I'm thinking of doing is reading info notes. When I'm done it's filled at the bottom lol
