Something people have been asking me a lot recently is when Executive Assault 2 coming out?
The aim was to have it ready for the end of the year but as I have been developing the game and adding more features to make it even more exciting I have been finding that time has been slipping away so will be 2018 now.
For instance even though Executive Assault 2 includes colossal space battles there are times when you are running the space station and getting the economy up and going which could be a little slow and even less fun if you are an Executron on board the station. So I've been adding more features to make this aspect of the game much more exciting such as system degradation, infestations, reactor coolant problems, random encounters etc.
I know a few of you will be disappointed but in the end it will all be worth it.
Also want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who have kindly offered to help test the game when it comes out, rest assured I will make an announcement here when the time comes, the multiplayer is going to need a good stress testing at some point.

While a tiny bit disappointed that we won't be getting the game this year, I'm not surprised at all. I definitely want you take to take your time to make it the full game you want rather than rushing something out. Can't wait to see what new features you are adding.
Speaking of which, is there any chance of sneak peek of what's in the future? Some more screenshots, blogs, or even those short videos you made a while ago would help keep the hype up.

You are right I should do more of those things, basically a day/afternoon making a video/blog is a day less working on the game which at this moment is a higher priority. Also the other problem is that there are a few other space games in the works by other companies and I don't want to give away too many of my games features at this point. |

I more then understand where you're going Rob and I think I speak for the vast majority of us in saying we wish you the best of luck in your development. Also I was also expecting a delay due to all of the ideas we came up for you to add to the game.
Hmm speaking of which what did you decided to go with for entrance to the CEO office?

is there going to be a way to land on a planet or an asteroid for ground combat, or is it going to be space and interiors of stations only?
I'd love to be able to send a landing craft on a planet and set up outposts.
Anyways, I wish you luck with the development!

All in space this time and no walking around asteroids, but you can setup outposts in remote sectors and walk around them and watch your mining ships dock and undock |
